Pulled to the root
Weeds and volunteer seedlings come out root and all, not sheared off at the top where they grow right back.
Beds that got away from you usually come back in a day. We pull everything that shouldn’t be there to the root, cut a clean edge, shape what’s staying, and put fresh mulch down at the right depth.
01 What’s included
It’s the prep that makes mulch last. Fresh mulch dumped over live weeds and a grown-in edge doesn’t look good for long.
Weeds and volunteer seedlings come out root and all, not sheared off at the top where they grow right back.
A hand-cut edge between the bed and the lawn keeps grass from creeping in and gives the mulch a line to sit behind.
Overgrown shrubs trimmed back, dead ones pulled, and anything worth keeping kept.
Deep enough to hold weeds down, not so deep it smothers roots, and pulled back off trunks and stems instead of piled up against them.
When a bed needs filling back in, new plants and shrubs go in as part of the same job.
Weeds, trimmings, and old material leave on the trailer the same day.
02 Process
Photos of the beds are usually enough for a ballpark. Call, text, or use the quote form.
We agree on what stays, what goes, and the price, in writing, before anything gets pulled.
Pulling and trimming first, then the edge, then mulch. Most beds are done in a day.
Walks and drive blown off, everything hauled, and you look it over before you pay.
03 Pricing
Every property is different, but most people want a ballpark before they call. Here’s where these jobs typically land.
These are typical ranges, not a quote. The only number that counts is the written one you get after the walkthrough — and that one doesn’t change unless you change the scope.

05 Questions
Bed cleanup, edging, and mulch starts at $375. Where a job lands depends on how much bed there is, how overgrown it is, and how much mulch it takes. You get the number in writing after the walkthrough, before any work starts.
Almost never. Most of the yards we photograph looked unrecoverable to the homeowner and came back in a day. We pull to the root instead of shearing the tops off, keep whatever is worth keeping, re-cut the bed line, and mulch. The plants that stay usually look better than they have in years once they aren’t competing.
Most beds look best with a fresh layer about once a year. If the bed is still clean and the edge is holding, a top-up is a smaller job than a full rehab.
Yes. Plant and shrub installs are part of bed rehab when a bed needs filling back in. We’ll talk through what goes where at the walkthrough.
Yes, the same day. Weeds, trimmings, dead shrubs, and old material all leave on the trailer.
06 Service area
If your property sits just outside the list, call anyway — larger projects are often worth the drive.
07 Other services
Rather than send you to three different contractors, we do the removal, the hauling, the planting, and the water work in one visit.
